Each summer, the Village Hall is the focal point for the biggest event in the village. That’s Combs Fun Day, which has run for many years now. Activities include a show of produce and crafts, a children’s tea, a fell run, and games for kids and adults. The day usually ends with a party at the Village Hall.
The Trust doesn’t organise Fun Day – it provides the Village Hall and grounds. The Combs Event Committee organises all of the activities. If you want to know more, or get involved in making this annual event a success, please call Jean Evanson, Debby Jones, or Jackie Ford-Ward.
