
The constitution for Combs Village Hall Trust was signed by the Trustees on 24th January 1994, and its key objectives are:
To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Village of Combs and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, for the advancement of education, and the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
To achieve these objectives, the Trust adopted three key principles:
- Support embryonic community projects and initiatives leading to community recreation groups and activities.
- Provide low-cost facilities for small village groups and activities.
- Work with community to identify areas of need and work to identify solutions.
The building is at the centre of a community partnership.
